Authentic approaches include kick drum tunneling, large-diaphragm condenser mics, tons of various interval stereo room mics, and the use of the stereo ribbon mic at middle distance to provide vintage room tone. You won’t need to do much to Oxy-Beats to fit them perfectly into any composition but you’ll want to do everything.
