P2P | 02 October 2016 | 3.6 GB

In the Spring of 2012, C.L. Alge revisited his recording engineer roots and recorded multiple world class drumkits at OCEAN studios in Burbank. He then mixed all the drums in his classic style in his LA mixroom using the same processing chains that you’ve heard on all of his records. He even printed a sample layer of his famous SONY reverb unit on the kicks and snares. The result is some of the fattest, punchiest, most mix ready virtual drums in the industry! And now you can use these classic Chris Lord Alge drums in SSD4 Virtual Drum instrument and SS TRIGGER Drum Replacer/Enchancer.

TOUCH, TONE AND TIMBRE.

A broad collection of drums – tailored for acoustic pop, Americana, folk and more. Some productions don’t call for big reverbs, pumping side-chain compression or excessive amounts of saturation, just the bare, unscripted and acoustic truth. Presenting a collection of nuanced, sparse, mellow and mature-sounding kits, the Singer-Songwriter EZX is an homage to just that. Welcome to the epitome of a bespoke drum library for any selective songwriter who considers the raw, unbridled voice of a drum kit as much of a storyteller as the song itself.

Gospel EZX v1.0.1 WiN MAC

A GOSPEL JOURNEY.

A journey in gospel drums – from the ’40s through to today. Up until today and ever since the early days, when makeshift kits, foot stomps and handclaps served as rhythm sections in churches, the beat has been central in every syllable, bar and phrase of worship music. Simply put: rhythm is instilled in each fiber of gospel as we know it. The Gospel EZX celebrates just that: the power of rhythm and the legacy of a genre whose DNA over the course of history has seeped through to almost any facet of music imaginable. With branches arching into anything from R&B and soul to rock, hip-hop and fusion, gospel is the literal definition of width. With its four fundamentally different sets of tonal characteristics, this EZX covers the entire scope and paints an impressive sonic image – from the open-sounding tones of the early 1940s and the dry, muffled and tight ones of the 1960s to the punchy, distinct and crystal clear sound of today.
