Vintage Vibes v1.0.0 EZkeys 2

P2P | 04 September 2026 | WiN+MAC:664.15MB

AN ELECTRIC LEGEND.

In every note of this classic instrument, you can hear its inner workings-the clank of the hammers, the buzz of the reeds and the slight inconsistencies that make every note beam with its own characteristic imperfections. When played hard, it barks; when played soft, it purrs and sings. Be it in funk, jazz, rock or anything in between, it fits into any context you place it in. No wonder it’s become a legend in its own right. In fact, it’s one of the few electric pianos that has stood the test of time and remains as current today as it was when it was first introduced in the 1950s. We’re, of course, talking about the timeless Wurly.

IN TUNE WITH THE FUTURE.

Synth sounds inspired by the past but reimagined for today! Inspired by the shimmering haze of the timeless tones that propelled the synth-fueled revolution of the ’80s but reimagined with today’s technology, this EKX for EZkeys 2 presents a sonic retrospective with an all-new perspective. If you’re looking for sounds evidently rooted in nostalgic charm but with modern depth and clarity, this is the go-to expansion for EZkeys 2. The main underlying instrument in this EKX was inspired by one of the most iconic synths of the ’80s. From that, numerous patches were modeled to create the best possible range. To further shape each sound, additional sampled hardware synths and effects were then layered, blended and refined to create fresh, one-of-a-kind textures of warm and analog-inspired tones ideal for any type of modern pop production. In total, a staggering 80 presets are included, all of which are conveniently organized in four distinct categories: Keys, Lead & Bass, Plucks & Bells as well as Pads.

EZkeys Mellotoon v1.1.0 WiN MAC

P2P | 30 September 2025 | WiN: 341MB | MAC: 347MB

15 individual instruments, all captured from the classic Mellotron keyboard heard on hits by anything from the Beatles to the Moody Blues and King Crimson. EZkeys Mellotoon is based on the Mellotron keyboard introduced in the early 1960s. This unique instrument was the first of its kind to include samples of real instruments, but as opposed to the modern-day digital sampler, the Mellotron pulled them off a magnetic tape loop that ran inside the keyboard. It came with various sounds for piano, strings, flutes, brass and is likely best described as the first-ever “band in a box”. Naturally, it was a revelation from the get-go. Early adopters included the Beatles, the Moody Blues and King Crimson, who all immortalized the unmistakable tone of the Mellotron in numerous hits. Today, this piece of instrument history is enjoying a massive resurgence in a wide range of genres. EZkeys Mellotoon captures the essence of this one-of-a-kind keyboard and comes with 15 individual instruments, carefully sampled directly from a model M400 Mellotron using a blend of direct and amped signals. On top of that, it includes a generous selection of custom effect and sound chain presets, giving you a completely new, creative outset to an already seemingly bottomless pool of awe-inspiring sounds.

Felt Piano v1.0.0 EKX

P2P | 24 June 2025 | 1.44GB

This expansion for EZkeys 2 features a carefully captured felt-damped upright piano, ideal for anything from mellow singer-songwriter and folk to acoustic pop and rock. If you’re looking for the ultimate instrument for earthy, round and warm tones, this is it. The piano in this EKX was recorded using a classic technique where an extra layer of felt is applied directly to the strings that the hammers strike, giving the tone of the instrument a much quieter attack and an overall more warm and intimate resonance. To add, the room in which it was captured is moderately small, adding to its almost visceral timbre. To capture every tonal aspect possible, one mono as well as three different stereo pairs of carefully selected microphones were used in the recording. These microphone options were then all utilized in the broad collection of presets, showcasing anything from the subtle, nuanced and delicate to the more full-bodied and rich – still all with that gentle and almost velvety attack. In addition to the sounds, a basic MIDI library tailored specifically for the instrument is included, giving you a starting point of piano grooves to work from and be inspired by when exploring the sonic possibilities of the product. If your songs call for a piano with sounds as soft as silk, here you go.

Dark Industrial EKX

Team ARCADiA | 23 October 2024 | 2.97 GB + UPDATE ONLY

ORGANIC, MECHANIC MADNESS.

Sounds, presets and MIDI, tailored for industrial rock and metal, dark electronic music and cinematic soundscapes. In this EKX for EZkeys 2, the absolute contraries of the audio scope come head to head in a full-circle library of sounds covering the entire range from industrial rock and metal to dark electronic music and cinematic soundscapes. The sounds were based around a broad pool of electronic instruments and analog synths paired with an acoustic piano and an organ. The individual components were then processed using pitch modulation, granular effects, distortion, compression, amps and outboard to create sounds with an inherently dark, gritty and raw aura. Finally, these instruments were combined to create never-before-heard hybrids of sound represented in a total of 82 presets distributed over five distinct categories: Keys, Pads, Leads & Basses and Textures. Expect an all-encompassing collection of hauntingly bent, skewed, convulsing and phasing sounds covering anything from earthmoving drones and basses to ethereal pads and piercing leads.

Melodic Percussion: Wood

P2P | 25 June 2024 | 4.47 GB

As obvious in soundtracks and classical arrangements as in anything from pop and rock to hip-hip and all thinkable offshoots of electronic dance music, the marimba and the xylophone are the uncontested big two in the family of wooden melodic percussive instruments. The dark, rich, full, earthy and plucky sound of the marimba is as ideal for arpeggios and leads in an EDM track as it is for a dramatic segue in a film. Equally, the more accentuated, bright and dry tone of the xylophone is an amazing and piercingly effective melodic voice in any context it’s used. Recorded to cater to anything from full-scale classical compositions to any general songwriting needs, both instruments were captured at the famed 330 square meter main hall at Galaxy Studios using an array of different microphones. In addition to a generous selection of close mics positioned to pick up the immediate attack and body of each instrument, several mics were positioned around them for complete surround sound compatibility in up to 5.0 systems. In addition, the marimba was also recorded in the smaller Studio 1 room to offer an even more intimate take on the same instrument.
