    VCL-373 v1.3.0 WiN

    TEAM V.R | 12 July 2018 | 3.37 MB

    Vintage Comp/Limiter

    (Win32/64; AAX*, VST3, VST)

The VCL-373 is a recreation of an early 60s broadcasting limiter/compressor that eventually found its way into many mastering studios. 1963 marks a technological shift in that the famous diode-bridge based gain reduction stage was replaced by a transistor-based circuit that allowed for less THD and more reliable control voltage tracking. The plugin includes a faithful emulation of the audio transformers, the crucial feedback compression circuitry as well as the discrete class A make-up amplifier. Some convenient features including a continuous drive control, gain compensation, GR metering and a dry/wet mix have been added in the digital domain.

    Bitspeek v1.x.x WiN MAC

    TEAM R2R | 2015.05.25 | v1.5.0:WiN+ v1.0.2: MAC: 15 MB

Bitspeek is a real-time pitch-excited linear prediction codec effect. Right now you are probably thinking, “oh, another one of those”? Or perhaps not. Chances are that you have never heard about “linear prediction”, although most of us use it daily when we talk on our cell phones. Linear prediction coding is a voice compression technology that appeared in commercial products in the seventies and was implemented in some well-known speaking toys of the early eighties. We have applied this technology to create a VST / AU effect plug-in that analyzes audio, extracts a number of parameters (including pitch, volume and formant data) and then resynthesizes the audio using a simple oscillator, noise and filter architecture. We have added a number of playback parameters that adjusts the pitch and tonal quality of the sound as well as support for MIDI and a beat-synchronized “formant freezing effect”. Despite having only a few simple controls, this box can produce a broad range of sounds from cheap speaking toys to high-end vocoder and talkbox effects.

    Clariphonic DSP mkII v1.1.1 MAC

    OPENSSH | 10.07.2018 | 7.9 MB

    AU VST x64

After 3 years of using the original Clariphonic DSP, I’d compiled quite a list of improvements I wanted to make. So I made them all, and the result is the Clariphonic DSP mkII, modeled from the ground up by me using all new algorithms and filters. To my ears, the mkII sounds markedly smoother than the original, and it’s considerably more powerful in use. It has 3 modes: classic Stereo, Dual Mono so I can eq each side differently, or Mid-Side for advanced sweetening. I overhauled the GUI as well, it’s a little easier on the eye and a lot easier to use. Between the smoother sound, the 3 operational modes, and the enhanced interface, I’m more proud of this design than any I’ve done to date, and that’s coming from the guy who recently dropped the Tweaker.

    SEM-Filter v1.1.0.389 WiN

    Team V.R | 07 Jul 2018 | 104.3MB

    (Win32/64; AAX, VST3, VST)

Combining simplicity with pure tone-shaping power, SEM-Filter is a futuristic twist on a classic synth filter. Renowned for its pioneering technology in the 70s, we paid tribute not only to its sound but also the SEM’s reputation as a trailblazer. Using the meticulous modelling techniques, and by adding exciting new features, we have created a true modern classic audio filter. No longer confined to a synthesizer, you can now use the era-defining filter tone of Tom Oberheim’s cult synth module on any audio source you wish. Process acoustic instruments in your DAW, shape vocals, perform sweeps on your whole mix, create builds, rises, and drops, even use it to improve a soft-synths stock filter.

    1973-Pre v1.1.0.388 WiN

    Team V.R | 07 Jul 2018 | 111 MB

    (Win32/64; AAX, VST3, VST)

British iconic sound of the 70’s

The subtle nuance and tonal flavor added by a vintage preamp can have an amazing overall effect on the music you create. For years, top producers have coveted the sound of the venerable 1073 preamp. Now – through the power of Arturia’s advanced TAE modelling – you too can have a taste of that harmonically rich, classic tone in your DAW. Devised by visionary electronics engineer and pro audio legend Rupert Neve, the preamp became a staple of the world’s top studios, and added its unique tonal flavor to countless hits. It was a revolution in 1970, pioneering the use of reliable high-efficiency transistors to replace the temperamental vacuum tube technology of the time. The sound of the preamp became an instant hit with record producers, sound engineers, and artists the world over, cementing its place in music history.
