PSP BBDelay is an analog-inspired delay and ambience processor built around the unmistakable character of classic Bucket Brigade Device (BBD) chips: warm repeats, organic movement, and musical imperfections beyond vintage limits. Inspired by a legendary 1980s BBD delay and ambience processor*, PSP BBDelay channels the depth, motion, and instability that gave classic analog delays their lasting appeal. Modelled BBD chips, compander behaviour, and analog circuit imperfections make each repeat evolve with texture and life. With transient shaping, ducking, gating, saturation, modulation, tone shaping, and chip variation, PSP BBDelay moves from vintage echoes and lush ambience to experimental soundscapes.

PSP 2445 EMT is a reverb processor plug-in inspired by two legendary early digital age reverberators: the EMT® 244 and the EMT® 245. PSP thoroughly researched how to bring the specific features of those simple, yet very musical sounding reverbs to life as a plug-in. We then improved from the originals with a handy set of parameters to control details of the sound and mix the reverb not available in the original hardware. PSP 2445 is capable of processing using one selected engine or both of them simultaneously. The reverb algorithms implemented in PSP 2445 are based on original algorithms designed by Dr. Barry Blesser (one of the grandfathers of the digital audio revolution). Thanks to Dr. Barry’s extensive consultation and support, our algorithms sound as good as the originals and plug-in could be officially endorsed by EMT Studiotechnik GmbH.

Our goal in developing these plug-ins has been to provide you with versatile compressors that offer detailed control, and an exceptionally musical sound. oldTimer is not based on any specific hardware, but is inspired by vintage circuitry and we designed them to emulate our favorite characteristics of such compressors. oldTimerME combines advanced features such as the option to process left, right, mid or side channel exclusively while remaining simple to set up. In the case of oldTimer, our goal was to provide a simple compressor that offers an exceptionally musical sound while requiring minimal tweaking. oldTimer is so simple and so easy to use, that it’s difficult to make it sound bad even at the most extreme settings! These compressors offer soft and smooth compression in most applications, however they may slightly color the sound with their tube emulation on transients when heavily driven internally by high compression values.
