Usually the final mix of a music production does not translate well with all audio devices (e.g. HiFi, car audio, smartphone) at the beginning. To achieve this in an effective manner is not easy to master!
CosmosƒFx has the same engine of vSaturn but comes in effects plugin format. Therefore it can process live inputs in various ways, offering the expected sonic richness of the Cosmosƒ signal processor. The audio coming into Cosmoƒ FX will be input directly into the micro events. The synth engine of CosmosƒFx offers three handling methods which concerns the mapping of the incoming data as the micro event audio content. And then the micro events process this data with their own parameter space and accumulate the result as meso event to the higher level. Then altogether the meso events construct the macro event which then can be fed back to micro events.
Cosmosƒ is a real-time dynamic stochastic synthesis engine, which does generate sonic textures with a complex event distribution process. Discrete sonic events of certain density are distributed in a time space with their onset time and duration parameter calculated with stochastic /deterministic functions. Each macro event defines the duration of a meso space, and the sub events are distributed inside it. The overall goal of these functions is to achieve control on each event space and perform the process of change on the appropriate operation level. The user intervenes with the system in real-time by inputting a sound source or accessing different type of synthesis/modulation generators and by controlling the parameters for the sonic event distribution on different time scales.

I did a master class , easily one of the most creative mixers ever to lay hands on a console. He told me he wanted me to stop thinking of compression as dynamics control and start thinking of it as a form of movement. UBK-1 is most definitely the result of taking that advice. I have way too much fun with its squishy mojo, the way it aggressively smacks sounds back into place, making them pump and move like living things.
