    Many of us love the old portastudio cassette recorder sound because many of us started this gig on cheap tape. The pres are simple and yet have a smooth rolling off that makes for a nice smooth rendition. This pre surprised me at how useful it is. Giving a lovely glow it can be used to give more body and definition. Very nice , classy sound for a cheap preamp.

    This is a light sampling of a not so famous compressor. From the Danish company that brought the CL1B comes this versatile compressor. It can do warm or smash. This sampling sounds more forward and adds depth as you increase the G-drive. ( WHAT IS A MOJO SET? A common complaint facing Nebula users is the GUI and the workflow which may require a number of steps that an algorithmic plugin simply avoids. For example, to get more than one band of equalisation in most cases you need multiple instances of the plugin and the bands don’t always interact like the hardware would. But the sound is stellar. You also have a limited level of dynamic levels with eqs in a lot of cases.

    The MultiLens plug-in consists of four bandpass filters, which are arranged in parallel in the stereo panorama. Every bandpass filter owns a frequency LFO and a bandwidth LFO which influence the filters characteristic. The combination of the eight LFOs results in an almost randomly sounding output. In addition to the filter section there’s a noise generator, a “LoFi” unit, a distortion unit, a delay unit and an arpeggiator. With the help of the inbuilt noise generator you can add different noises to even enhance the filter effect.
