Equavescent is a ten band parallel equalizer designed for maximum clarity of sound.
Getting a balanced mix is key to achieving a great master that reproduces well across multiple playback systems. In the past, artists and labels would select mastering studio’s based on the engineer and the equipment they used. This was largely due to specific hardware’s ability to add a certain character to a mix. Since the explosion of software based mastering, you would think that these hardware units would be redundant. This however couldn’t be further from the truth, with labels and artists alike, seeking that warm & clear character that boutique EQ’s provide.

Having a nice wide stereo spread is great, expect for when we are talking about low frequencies. Mono Bass fixes the wide bass problem by collapsing your low frequencies to mono. Just set your frequency, and everything below that is brought to the center. Most of the time the effect is quite subtle (or at least it should be if your mix isn’t completely out of wack) but it definitely solidifies the low end and fixes a lot of the awkwardness of extreme panning on headphones. Just for added measure, we added a width knob to the higher frequencies.
The award-winning Nave has succeeded in changing perceptions of what a serious iOS instrument can be, thanks to unique sounds simply unachievable with any other synthesizer. We have often been asked when Nave would be available on other platforms. This new Nave brings that notable Nave sound engine to your favourite DAW. Designers have optimized its spectacular graphical user interface to work with the tried-and-tested computer combo of keyboard and mouse (or track pad) rather than touch screen surface technology, yet nothing has been lost in translation. The featured-packed Nave comes pre-packed with superb sounds, ranging from spatial pads to vivid wavetable scans and cutting leads to solid basses, but, above and beyond that, also an abundance of incredibly imaginative sound worlds – many of them professionally produced by some of the top sound designers around. As a synthesizer thoroughbred at heart, Nave really represents a phenomenal playground for sound creation creativity. Its oscillators offer expanded wavetable functionality with elaborate editing facilities and an extremely effective speech synthesizer.
