‘Turkish Divan Saz’ a collection of traditional divan saz melodies that have been professionally played, recorded and packed to ensure that you will never miss any little detail in your project. The ‘Divan Saz’ is the largest of the baglama family. It is also called the Meydan saz and the name is believed to be related to the fact that in meetings of Asiks, they would challenge each other. It has a metre-long neck and eight strings and is most commonly played in Anatolia. They are used both for Folk music and for modern popular music. In detail, expect to find 548 MB of raw content featuring 90 beautifully played ‘Divan Saz’ loops at 90, 110, 130 BPM and includes a dry version (w/o any additional e.q, compressor or reverb effects) and wet version of each, giving a total of 180 files. All loops are Key and Tempo Labelled for ease of use. All sounds are ready to fit straight in your tracks. ‘Tangent Drum’ is the one and only Tongue Drum you will ever need – and we say that with confidence! Recorded with several microphone positions, some of them traditional some others daring and original, we pulled as many colours as possible from this beautiful instrument. But that’s not all – we also deconstructed every single sample in three layers: The tonal, the percussive and the instrument root so as to be able to build advanced and spotless patches that will help you create music with crystal-clear quality! Thanks to our deconstruction technique, we assembled multiple Tongue Drums with resonances in different keys (C, D, E, F, G, A, B) as well as an extensive 6-octave range free of any of those pitch-stretch artefacts once uses to get on the transients. The results are extremely high quality sound as well as crazy clean playability!
