This is the complete Waves acoustics net impulse library collection for registered users. This collection is approx 4GB in size and will be referring to the IR-L, IR-1 and IR-360 as the “IR-series”.
Urban Waves Massive Presets is inspired by the sounds of the emerging hip hop scene. With various genres such as Future Bass, Trap, etc. and music from collectives such as Soulection and HW&W the sound of Urban Waves Massive Presets was born. These presets can be used in almost any context such as deep house, trap, chill, liquid drum & bass, and even more. All 54 presets were individually crafted with the idea of sound design for chill styles in mind. A lot of sound design focus is put on heavy bass and growls but there is still a need for chiller sounds. This is the perfect pack for that!
Waves C1 is, without doubt, one of the finest compressor plugins every made, and in this series of six in-depth videos, we show you to push it to the limits. We start with a tour of the C1’s parameters and a rundown of its various versions, before getting into the details of the gain reduction meter and how it reflects the amount of compression being applied. From there, we move on to the Compressor-Gate version of C1, exploring its interface and revealing how it differs from the standard model. We then get stuck into the various EQ modes on offer, showing how the presets can be adapted to suit any particular purpose – specifically, the reduction of reverb tails in an audio track. DeEssing next, as we use C1’s display and sidechain to visually focus on sibilant areas and duck them out. And, finally, we go deeper into sidechaining and demonstrate reducing ‘muddiness’ from an audio recording with the C1 in EQ mode.
