Pre X7 is an analog modelled preamplifier based on an iconic vintage tube unit primarily designed for bass guitar and that we modified to make it working with several audio sources.
Both input and output 12AX7 tube models are calculated in real-time, bringing you all the subtle non-linearities that will make each instance of this plugin unique without phase issues. An high-pass filter followed by a Tone control lets you shape the input signal before the output tubes. Furthermore, we included a brickwall clipping limiter to help you retain the distortion on extreme settings.

“The Record Store – Vol 2”, the ultimate follow up for lovers of vintage hip hop song starters. The sounds we have recorded are layered into a delectable mix of stacked loops, containing conventionally sampled instruments, including Rhodes, saxophone and piano. We have carefully processed them to ensure an authentically vintage sound, without going overboard on FX, leaving you plenty of room to adapt each sample according to your track. Furthermore, each clip is labelled with key and tempo, encouraging a drag-and-drop workflow regardless of whether you’re working with digital gear, analogue gear, or a MPC style sampler thus streamlining your sampling process further and allowing you to focus on writing rather than the tricky logistics of sampling that usually come as part and parcel of the hip hop genre. The Record Store – Vol 2 contains the definitive baseline elements for any sample based sub genre, including trip hop, lofi hip hop and boom bap. If you’re looking for a smoother and more intuitive sampling process, then this repackaged goldmine of song starters is perfect will be your perfect companion.
Welcome to my course on How to Sound Vintage! We’ll learn how to take a modern, digitally recorded track and send it back through a time machine to the world of analog. With the course, I provide sound samples for students to practice on. While there are some slightly technical aspects of this course, it is largely beginner friendly and can be followed along with using any DAW (Digital Audio Workstation) such as Studio One, FL Studio, Ableton Live, Logic Pro, Pro Tools, etc. This course is perfect for Video Editors, YouTubers, Sound Designers, Music Producers, Podcast Editors, and many more. Being able to turn modern audio into something believably vintage is a great skill for many creators to have in their back pocket.
