Verv is a synthesizer inspired by string machines, tape loops, Mellotrons and other time-worn analog recordings. Modeled after the 1970s Freeman String Symphonizer and ARP Solina, Verv has a dual-oscillator and carefully constructed ensemble modulation reminiscent of the classics.
Inspired by the apocalyptic soundscapes of Lorn, Coma Cassettes showcases exquisite analogue synth design, rich ambient landscapes, industrial drum machine lines and mutated Lo-Fi synth loops. Classic Analogue Synths & Keyboards Perfect for filmscore, modern takes on hip-hop & electronica, inside you’ll find rich saturated lead synth lines, savage sub and bass work, driven drum machine beats, warped and worn dusty arpeggio phrases, soaring lead lines and Blade Runner inspired references throughout. 20 Amazing Construction Kits + One-Shots Broken down into 20 inspired construction kits, you’ll find each individual sample plus a beautifully constructed ‘full mix’ as well as one shots covering single melody/bass notes + drum hits providing yet more flexibility. So, if you’re looking to get dark and nasty then this ones for you. Take that filmic tone and create something beautifully unique today.
Ever feel your beats were missing the swing and feel of a live drummer?! Well look no further, our latest collection of live drum samples are packed with character, style and authenticity. Covering 3 unique styles including Lo-Fi, tape driven and full mix, you’ll be sure to find the right sonic identity for whatever track you produce. Tape Saturation & Lo-Fi Selections Recorded in a true 60’s style, these mono classic drum recordings have all the vintage flavour you’d expect and fit perfectly against a classic Rhodes line, under a lush Lo-Fi pad or as a compliment to your more stereo processed and programmed drum samples. Styles included: Tape Driven: Re-sampled from our in house tape machine, expect that extra low-mid bump and the renowned glueing effect that tape has with drum transients. Lo-Fi: A single ‘smash mic’ that delivers are true snare sound and lots of vibe. Much lighter than the other options, these loops will work perfectly if you’re going for that soul look or looking to re-sample and create your own classic breaks for DnB & Jungle. Full Mix: Rich, warm and offering a full sound pre-tape. Great balance and style.
However, instead of using synthesizers, this time around only old audio recordings were used. The result is a diverse, unique, sometimes strange, sometimes quirky set of samples that are inspiring and nostalgic. And though there has been no concerted effort to emulate the sound of the following artists, those who’ve been working on audio demos believed the sounds to be influenced by Boards of Canada, Amon Tobin and Olafur Arnalds. However, these artists do not endorse this library. You may hear a different artist when you hear the demos and sounds.
DyVision VideoTape is a 32bit VST effect for use in Windows DAW programs. It emulates the classic and imperfect texture imparted to audio recorded on video tape. Towards the end of its technological life cycle video tape had surprisingly good audio quality. But as anybody who remembers the 80s, video rental stores, and ‘video nasties’ knows, this was not always the case.
