Adventure Strings is the follow-up to our debut offering, Soaring Strings. Performed by the same number of players, recorded in the same room, seated in their traditional positions — both share the same performance aesthetic. Strong, passionate and relentlessly energetic. So why another string library with the same, familiar collection of short articulations? Well, it’s how we produced them that makes it interesting. Shorts are normally recorded in isolation — perhaps one or two notes per bar during the recording process. This makes the editing process a snap and the end result is often satisfactory. The sane choice. With Adventure Strings, we recorded repetition phrases; a quick succession of notes at a procured tempo. We then edited and programmed each note of that phrase to be playable, which resulted in a fetal position-incurring post-production process.

We created an inspiring new string instrument which offers an unique approach to suit easily your individual needs. Essentially Vertigo Strings is a melange of 16 meticulously selected sounds and instruments which can be mixed freely to fullfill your creative vision in an intuitive and easy way. The overall sound is characterised by a deep and rich string ensemble, with a special organic flavor. Vertigo Strings is the collection of many different and interesting sound sources. On the one hand Vertigo Strings provides a gamut of articulations for violins, violas, celli, or an upright bass, ranging from fragile ponticello pianissino and regular arco playing to harmonics and raw legato recordings. On the other hand Vertigo provides an arsenal of non-orchestral sounds and instruments, which prove to be interesting and organic alike. Chamber Strings is a highly detailed and flexible chamber string library (6,5,3,3,1) recorded by expert recording engineer. A range of exciting and revolutionary techniques for recording longs, as well as freshly conceived scripting concepts allowed the natural dynamic movements of the musicians to be maintained, while remaining playable and intuitive. Windmill Lane is a uniquely wonderful scoring stage, used on many orchestral, film and TV projects. Utilising the dryness of the room, Light and Sound libraries feature multiple mic positions with natural air absorption. In line with the Light and Sound philosophy which celebrates maximum flexibility, the sound can be shaped more freely than with samples recorded in a more ambient environment. To recreate the natural bleed of a real recording environment, the close mics of all sections were left open and set at their natural panning and levels while recording each instrument section. The “Bleeds” mic adds a unique and realistic flavour to mockups and compositions.
