Filter Research is a new patchset now available for Reason 4 which does just that. Filter Research takes the modular format of the Reason Combinator, and harnesses it to create new, and truly unique effects devices.
These squeezing sounds will perfectly suit to any hard sounding track you ever wanted to produce. As you probably know there is not so easy to get hardstyle samples that sound good through full keyboard. Not so easy to get and not so easy to create – that’s why it took so long time to make this samplepack. Imagine every single wav file within multisample with another processing parameters applied…that’s a really hard work – and that’s why probably there are not so many hardstyle samplepacks in the world. Although there are many hard sounds on miscelanous samplepacks, there are no REAL HARDSTYLE MULTISAMPLES :-) So now you can enjoy our new powerful sounds and use them in your productions!

We sampled a bowed upright bass outside in the middle of a blizzard, recorded giant tubular bells at the mouth of a cave, waves lapping on a frozen rocky beach, wind, snowstorms, creaking ice floes and more. We then took this material into the studio and with a whole lot of granular synthesis, resampling, some math and a little bit of voodoo we transformed them into a gorgeous set of playable musical instruments for your Reason rack that are oozing with character and unlike anything else on the planet. The Ambient X02 give you the full control about your ambient and mystic feeling in your productions. The Ambient X02 Pad Synthezizer gives you the full control about all parameters of the soundscape. Change the pad intensitivity or give the ambience more room. Take the ambience into the foreground of your mix and put a little reverb on the pad. And if you like: the pads can fly in the stereo panorama. And all that is possible with a few knobs of the combinator.
