Next, you’ll see how to craft Baseline and Pad parts for the song, including cool sound design ideas, and how to use Reason 11’s Automation features creatively. Moving on, you’ll learn program the drum parts by using extracted drum hits from REX loops to build a killer kit in Kong, as well as use the Drum Sequencer device to sequence Trap style hats alongside conventional note clips. You’ll then see how to design a basic patch in the included West Coast Modular synth, Complex 1, plus how to organize your project, and then test out the arrangement using the powerful Blocks lane feature.
