This ReFill focuses on sounds produced by the famous “Thor” synthesizer combined with the brand new Pulveriser, The Echo, Alligator and even Kong with optional Line6 amp effect devices from Reason 6. There are 5 main folders inside this Refill. All sounds are categorized into Pad, Bass, Synth, and FX subfolders.
2-Track Archives for Reason 4+ features hundreds of analog orchestral and instrumental performances sampled into great clips and stabs plus 200 rex files as a bonus! 2-Track Archives includes hundreds of samples taken from unique instrumental performances that were once used on albums that the Sonic Flavour’s producers made over the past 20 years. Please note, 2-track archives is also included in Sonic Flavour’s giant Hip Hop Flavours Refill! The original recordings have been done using analog desks by Harrisson, Neve and SSL, great vintage mikes by Neuman, AKG, Bruel and Kjaer and Sennheiser. The tape recorders were always Studers (A80’s and A820’s using 2-inch Agfa and Ampex tapes). Lots of these sampled performances are exact copies from the original master tapes while others are heavily tweaked and processed, still carrying that special character but with strange and exciting ET qualities.

WAVEFRONT is a collection of just over 4.5 gigabytes of waveforms created by Engineer, Sound Designer, and Producer Marc Van Bork in the Reason ReFill format. Everything from multi-sampled analog and digital style waveforms, pads, choirs, strings, textures, ambience, and field recordings to electronic drums, metallic impacts, and mangled sounds have been carefully captured at high resolution (24/96) for processing and down-sampled to 16 bit – 44.1khz to provide a very clean and flexible database of raw material.
Boost 309 is based on the complete sample set of the vintage, lo-fi but charmingly sounding machine Rave-o-lution 309 by a company named Quasimidi. We have created 100 brand new combinator drum machines for you with these samples. It all ranges from the old original 309 thing to amazing and unique patches that could have never been created within the 309 itself. The Performance Telecaster ReFill features extensive multi-sampling for all three pick-up positions of a 2010 Telecaster: ’59 SD Humbucker (dual-coil) for a deep woody tone, TM Single Coil for leads with some classic Tele “twang”, and Mid – both pick-ups for a full range tone. Whether playing lead or rhythm, choose from Single Pick-up Combinators, or go super-size and try the Triple Pick-Up Combinators and switch between all three pick-up positions whenever you need.
Filter Research 3’s standard Combinators are a stunning selection that run the sonic gamut from MIDI-triggered delays, psychotic beat repeaters, guitar amp multi-FX, tuned resonators, as well as subtle production-ready EQ and Saturation patches. But the centerpiece of this aural experience is once again the Epic Combinators. These six patches by Jeremy Janzen are truly Reason sound design at its finest.
