This beautiful Steinway Model L Grand piano was recorded at Whip Records in Berkeley, California. Using Neumann U67 microphones and high quality preamps, multiple layers were recorded at 24-bit resolution.Each sample was reviewed, and the best were assembled to create the Platinum Grand. As a result of this process, the samples are perfectly matched, sound great, and are free of artifacts. This natural sounding piano will work in any track mix.

The 24-Bit Stereo Grand Piano was recorded in United States by Adam Serafin. Every note was sampled in 6 stereo velocities, 528 stereo samples were recorded in total, without any looping (up to 2 minute decays). The piano was digitally recorded and edited direct to disc to achieve the highest possible quality. Extra care was taken in respect to A/D conversion, recording levels, and dynamic range to guarantee the highest bit-fidelity.
