Z3bramatic: Horror Reimagined is the final chapter to our Zebramatic soundset series. Once again, this soundset aims at dark cinematic scoring for film and video games. ‘Percussion Hits & Loops Vol 2’ contains a wide variety of percussion hits, loops and ambiences created from field recordings recorded in the British seaside town of Brighton. The samples have been created with various organic and metallic objects including large and small pebbles from the beach, parts of the pier, arcade game machines, washed up glass on the beach, drift wood and more. Using a variety of foley techniques to create easy to use atmospheric soundscapes from numerous coastal and bustling seaside city locations to add depth to your music.
Ting is an instrument providing 12 different percussive sounds originating from everyday t(h)ings laying around at home – such as silverware, a sofa, toy drum or a pair of car keys. Each sound is carefully multi-sampled and processed with the common goal to be musically playable. Ting is intended to be a creative tool and a substitute for ordinary drum and percussion instruments. Altogether ~500 individual samples are used to make this instrument. In addition to the sounds, there is an EQ, a room simulator, a reverb and a compressor.
The library is based on 33 oriental percussion samples (Bas Darbuka – Def – Bongo – Zil) with tempo information. Each phrase is usually between 1,2 or 4 bars long. All phrases are played in the same tempo and can be easily combined with each other. This makes it easy to create a complete arrangement.
