The Alesis SR-16 drum machine has been one of the most popular machines to use in the last decade!! It has realistic sounding drums, and its dynamics are incredible. Within this small but powerful build Ive created, you will find literally, the ENTIRE SR-16 drum machine. If you’ve never owned a real hardware version of this, then HERE’s you CHANCE!! because Ive set this one up to be so easy to use, and as dynamic as the real one could ever be!!
Ive created All these banks/presets into ‘single nki files’ and also into’Multi-NKB’ files, which for many, will really be nice to use, if you so desire, to use these in a live show senario ?
And yet….. another piano!! So whats different about mine you ask? ‘NOT a DAMN THANG!!’ For sure, its not one of these 50 gig / 12 dvd takes a month to load, vsti pianos. But I can promise, its nice enough for you to use for your demo work, or for playing out live. I started this projekt sometime ago, creating it at first as a soundfont. but as time went by I wanted more layering to it, and velocity sensitive release’s. So, my werk ended up in the kontakt format , and I really think its quite nice for being around 250 meg and 4-Layers!
Just as it states…. nothing but old Vinyl sounds of record scratches, thumps and bumps, hums & needle noise’s galore!!! All built in hits and loop form. Nice n simple to use for intro’s on a tune or even as underlayering for videos. This will be your ‘on3′ stop for scratched up old ass records from now on!!
An attempt at creating the samples for my own personal drum set. All vintage equipment used , And recorded as seperate pieces, not as a kit setup together. Each drum, and or cymbal(s) were recorded in different rooms of my recording studio, to give the ‘ambience’ I wanted for each piece. This kit , this setup , is Multi-layered and Velocity Sensitive!! Alteast each drum and cymbal have 4 to 6 and some with 8 Layers on each key/mapping of each drum.
No big deal here, its a Vibra Slap, here you’ll find two banks (nice dry and simple, and EFx). You play the vibraslap by holding the hairpin part in one hand and hitting the ball against the other The metal “teeth” inside the horn-shaped part then vibrate up and down, hitting the top and bottom plates of the horn, and causing the characteristic “rattle” sound.
