Layering Samples and Field Recordings Abstractions features sounds taken from a wide sonic spectrum, including scenes from the lively city of Brighton, UK, from beach-front café’s to street performances, bird-songs and recordings taken while cycling through the town centre, alongside unconventional recordings of live instruments, including; scraping coins over a bass guitar, playing a medieval psaltery with a head of a hammer, a wooden xylophone played by candles. These recordings were all then twisted, stretched remixed and blended together, alongside synth tones to create truly unique textural audio.
