    Waves CLA Epic Explained®

    FANTASTiC | MERRY XMAS | 170 MB

Detailed Waves CLA Epic video tutorials! Learn all about this powerful reverb and delay plug-in’s features and functions, as well as hear it in action. The audio samples used in the videos are also included so you can follow along on your system. These video tutorials are for those new to the Waves CLA Epic plug-in. Eli greets you and begins with a video tutorial covering how to get around the CLA Epic user interface, including signal flow and how to setup routing to and from it. You’ll then explore the Tape Delay and its various parameters found in the delay module, as well as several different approaches to using it on a lead vocal. Next, hear and see how the four quadrants of the modulation knob are used to adjust both the depth and the rate of modulation applied to the repeats generated from the delay modules, how the Trigger button lets you manually start and stop the Throw delay effect, and how to automate the parameter to have the delay come in and out only when you want it to. Throughout the rest of the videos you’ll learn how the CLA Epic delay emulates the tonal curves associated with different tape speeds, how the Crowd delay creates a series of increasingly longer delays that diminish over time to make the source sound richer and lusher, explore the similarities and differences between the Plate, Room, and Hall reverbs, and how they are used together to create complex spaces, and much more.

The VST world is a jungle full of snake oil, very few brands manage to get character and a sense of realism in their virtual instruments. U-HE is one of them and one of a few actually that sounds realistic. This soundset contains no filler patches, all killer and is made with love and attention based “on my reference of the analog world and thick sound”.

WG2 MkII Studio Grand Piano KONTAKT

    SYNTHiC4TE | Dec 26, 2014 | 4.53 GB

When we recorded the White Grand and the White Sister our goal was not to create ”the ultimate Grand Piano”. Since a Grand Piano can be used in so many ways, from playing Mozart to hammer out Jerry Lee or Little Richard stuff and everything in between, we realized that there isn’t anything that could be considered ”The ultimate Grand Piano” in the world of multisampled instruments We wanted to make the ”Ultimate Studio Grand Piano” that would work in a recording session for more contemporary styles of music. It would simply sit well in a mix! We very lucky enough to find this fantastic instrument, an old, LARGE, Malmsjö Grand piano from around 1910, that had the clarity needed to work in a modern production, but also, at the same time, had the richness at well contoured bass side that would provide the power needed on the lower part of the keyboard without getting muddy.

    MERRY XMAS!

All 24 ‘InstaSet’ presets faithfully copied from the Korg 770’s original manual…

    • …plus a further 16 ‘Mongo Specials’ faithfully copied from the sweltering, febrile brain of Mongo • Simple but powerful control set including Tilt EQ, Filter and Amplifier so you can craft your own sounds • Velocity-to-volume and Velocity-to-cutoff retrofitted for even more expressive options • Classic sounds for 20c per patch! The Korg 770 may be small, but it’s mighty – not in a MiniMoog way, more in a BBC Radiophonics Workshop synth-puppy way. From a handful of wires and diodes comes all manner of frankly amazing and wonderful sounds, thanks to some pretty barmy topology and a whole load of unusual surprises: the Chorus wave on Oscillator 1, or the two forms of ring modulation built right in, or the musically brilliant Scale Noise which we’re now nicking and building into all our new synths. (Why doesn’t Scale Noise turn up everywhere? It’s amazing!)
