Our third release brings a cost effective set of cinematic / epic drum multisamples to your composing palette perfect for your next film or game score.  For SIEGE DRUM we have recorded a large 13 x 13 Medieval Davul Drum in both a studio setting for extremely dry recordings as well as in an old late 19th century hall built in 1896 giving the recordings a very unique and nice sense of space. Only compatible with the FULL version of Kontakt 4.2+

    Tension Hits 2 is the sequel to Soft Tension Hits. Where STH focuses on soft tension filled hits from unlikely sources… TH2 focuses more on in your face loud and epic impacts. All of these impacts come from unconventional sources such as chairs, tubes, stage hits, doors, sticks, metal shelves, and candelabras. We even recorded ensemble stomps on the stage which sound HUGE and epic! Tension Hits 2 is a wealth of instant inspiration stemming from unconventional percussion sources. There are no loops or phrases here, these are all multisampled recordings meticulously recorded via a very nice matched pair mic set. Speaking of recording.. these were all recorded in a large old hall built in the late 1800s so they all have a very cool air about them. In fact, the hall is featured in our very cool GUI art by Glyn Lloyd. All of the patches (save for one of the two stomps patches) feature 4 X RR.

It was created with hits from everyday objects of many shapes and sizes that were carefully selected for their tone and character and their special interaction when played as a set.  The final pack is a 1.03 GB, 2050 sample, atonal and tuned percussion collection for Kontakt, made up of 20 nkis and featuring 100 multi sampled objects, each with up to 7 velocity layers. Industrial heaters, bouncing balls, bottles, jugs, and filing cabinets, Creative Junk is a goldmine of unique hits, quirky transients and inspirational tones, all recorded using 3 mic positions, thus allowing the user to incorporate the beautiful acoustics of our Cinematic live room using the ambient stereo pair, or to create a tighter sound with the close mic setting.

    Hammr+, a virtual tonewheel organ instrument library for KONTAKT. You’d be right in thinking that he last thing the world needs is another Hammond clone, and I would be the first to agree, but the Hammr+ is a little different. Of course she oozes classic character and has all the capabilities you’d expect of a tonewheel organ, but in true Sound Dust style this thing takes a huge leap of the imagination and moves way past the limitations of the original. By taking advantage of sampling technology and bespoke Kontakt architecture and a little bit of imagination Hammr+ can do things that were inconceivable in the original 1959 instrument.

    The ships piano is no Blüthner or Steinway, and there’s no chance of extracting rich sonorous tones from this fella …but its charming simplicity has lots and lots of useful character. Its very plinky without being too plonky….if you know what I mean. I’ve meticulously sampled every usable white note binaurally with 4 and sometimes 5 velocity layers for 155mb of 16bit samples. The MK2 version includes many extra Kontakt features including the “Satie-anator” which is best explained in the video below. MK2 version will only work on full Kontakt 4 and above.
