Pendle Poucher has announced the release of Mouse/Mice Organ, a free sound library. Mouse or Mice Organ? A very simple but cool sounding pair of instruments made using only the power of pure electromagnetical trickery. No rodents were injured during the making of this instrument. sfz, SoundFont, and Kontakt formats (works best in Kontakt 4).
It seems there has been renewed interest in the old BFD Expansion packs recently as there has been quiet a few posts here at Magesy sharing these packs. When it comes to world percussion, there have been few libraries released. Most were disappointing except for the Evolution Series World Percussion 2.0 which featured many instruments from around the world with many RRs and multiple Mic positions. To those who were disappointed in my previous libraries because the snare top/bottom and Kick In/Out samples were mixed with the Direct sample, you don’t need to worry about it here. The original samples themselves don’t have a Kick in/out or Snare Top/Bottom ones (except perhaps couple of instruments). There is no difference in features from my previous libraries. Interface is still the same.

Dream Rythms is a modular library for Kontakt featuring more than one hundred combinable rhythms and sequences, including warped keys, guitars, synths, basses, kicks and percussive elements. Elements can be layered to obtain complex rhythms and textures. The included multis are a great example of how Dream Rythms can be combined.
