AMIGA SOUND MACHINE

Crouching Fingers is a sample library with KONTAKT instruments inspired from 80 & 90ies Martial Arts games and films. Inspired by combat sounds from iconic vintage game consoles, DX7, C64, Juno60 and Amiga. These are dangerous KONTAKT instruments. Sounds were recorded onto VHS tapes with different input-levels. And recorded back to DAW, before mapping to KONTAKT. Are your chops ready to meet the challenge? The brutal world of The Crouching Fingers awaits. We took inspiration from the fighter films & Amiga games we’ve grown up with. Mashed it together, and created library with a deadly punch. With some help from an Amiga, a JUNO-60, a DX7, some empty cassettes and a VHS tapemachine.

Dulcitone sampled with different sets of felt hammers. Dulcitone sounds like an elderly celesta, with a quieter and rounder tone. We sampled two different Dulcitones with different piano hammers, cutting-edge technology. The sound comes from tuning forks, which vibrate when struck by felt-covered hammers. We utilized a variation of different hammers. Here’s a playful demo : Grieg Op 43 No 17 (Op.43-1) Butterfly, rearranged for Dulcitone Pro. Using the main patch only.

Welcome to Cartoon Maestro! This Kontakt library has been carefully designed to cater to the needs of those looking to score cartoon or comedy series, offering a selection of unique solo instruments and articulations geared specifically for animation projects and movies. In creating this library, our aim was to capture the essence and diversity of scores from what is often considered the golden age of animation. We meticulously studied and transcribed a multitude of scores, from slapstick to the more refined compositions found in modern works, to understand and recreate the unique sounds and effects achievable with traditional orchestral instruments. Our journey involved extensive research and numerous recording sessions to sample a wide array of articulations and capture the nuances essential for depicting a variety of cartoon scenes. The library includes content provided by performers interpreting diverse animation scenarios, available as both articulations and separate WAV files, for easy integration into any DAW or video software.
