The S90 ES combines a stunningly natural acoustic piano sound with all the sonic flexibility of the award winning Motif ES. A new multi-velocity, stereogrand piano sample, the new sound board simulation and the half-damper capability (when used with the Yamaha FC3) all ensure a rich and realistic acoustic piano sound. The 128-note polyphony tone generator, Studio Connections compatibility, mLAN expansion slot, and PLG expandability give it all the synthesis power and control capabilities of our Motif ES line.

Drawbar 350 is a transistor drawbar organ whose 8 voices are sampled from the original Dubreq Stylophone 350S – a professional version of the Stylophone with eight onboard voicings covering three sounds (Woodwind, Strings and Brass), plus vibrato, two styli, and a light-sensitive wah-wah control.
Invictus Guitar is an electric guitar library with two instruments: One with dry recordings and one amped containing around 5.7gb of samples each, an advanced pattern editor, a set of key switches for different sounds and more. The library consists of over 3500 individual recordings. Each of these recordings were hand edited to create approximately 1790 dual tracked samples. There are sixteen takes of each sound, combined into 8 stereo samples per sound. There are six different sounds and chords (5th Power chords, two alt chords, heavy and light palm mute and lead), a set of recordings for every semi-tone. Invictus contains a powerful pattern and phrase builder where you can assign different articulations and chords per step to create seamless and instant phrases.
Roland’s neat little SH-2000 monosynth was in some ways a pretty limited machine, built around a single oscillator plus a moderately squelchy filter circuit. Editing was very basic indeed: a series of 30 colourful tabs along the front edge of the instrument brought the onboard presets into play, while a little panel to the left of the keyboard offered rudimentary control over things like filter modulation, wow, ‘growl’ and portamento. Fiddling with these in real time while noodling away on the keyboard could yield some surprisingly cool effects.
