This is not another kalimba VST instrument. It’s something much more than this! Having sampled a 9 tine kalimba with 7 different tunings we were able to capture a two octaves range with a warm, sweet and rich sound! We managed to imitate the wah effect of its box, giving you the chance not only to enjoy playing with this wonderful instrument but to experiment as well! You can choose how to control the drum effect, by selecting the desirable controller and choose whether you want the effect to be synced with the tempo, or not! You will be able to choose your sound from three different microphone positions, Close, Drum and Stereo (Brüel & Kjær, Beyerdynamic Vintage MPC-50 & Schoeps CMC64). You get to fully control the envelopes and apply FXs such as Delay, Reverb, Compressor, Cabinet, Tape, Lo-Fi and Saturation, in order to create interesting soundscapes. This option will surely change the opinion you might have about this instrument!

The Master Solo Strings Begins With The Most Detailed, Carefully Sampled And Realistic Solo Viola Virtual Instrument When approaching the master solo strings, our initial thoughts were to begin with the solo violin, as out of the four main bowed string instruments, it is by far the most prominently used soloist instrument. With further consideration, we decided it might be perfect to focus and actually begin with a meticulously sampled solo Viola. There are already many sampled violins, and we have contributed some ourselves, so lets open with the viola! Considering adding a violin solo to your score? The violin has a beautiful sound – no doubt about it – but consider giving an extra special colour to your music by adding a viola solo; a warmer/lusher and deeper sound, which listeners will be less accustomed to, and pleasantly surprised by. The instrument is carefully sampled, with multiple legato modes at different dynamic layers, cross-fadeable with MIDI CC1 (mod wheel).

Dark continues the theme of pads, but with Dark we delve into the world of dark and hard sounds. With Dark we’ve included rhythmic loops. There are 474 tempo synced rhythmic patches and 236 non RYM patches. 4846 Samples. 7.22gb in size. We tried the sounds of Pure and Dark with rhythms and thought they sounded really good, so we’ve included loops and we intend to expand on the loops to complement the pads. The trilogy of Pads, Dark and Pure and our ongoing updates, all 3 libraries will continue to grow in size, just like Pads has now grown to around 8GB in size.
