GOA is a unique dark ambient soundscape generator. Its 25 patches, each provided with 8 layers loaded with picturesque autumnal sound samples, enable you to create eerie, unsettling, but also dreamy and serene evolving atmospheres instantly. All kinds of natural sounds, field recordings and musical instruments were used in the creation of this sample library. From the sounds of a river, rain or wind to those of branches, grass, rocks and various animals (even pigs!), from a guitar string played with a bow to a synthesizer, bamboo flute to plastic bottle, footsteps, or even a bicycle ride, this collection of sounds provides a wide palette of audio colors for shaping unique, never-heard results. All samples are 24 bit/44.1 kHz wav recordings, natural sounds and field recordings around 1 minute long and looped, tonals, pads and items similarly around several tens of seconds long, tuned and looped.

These sounds were created by using various synths and an electric guitar, then layering and manipulating the different sources to create dense, evolving textures and sounds. All samples are 24 bit, 44.1 khz, uncompressed for better audio quality.

1979 Crumar General Development System, GDS Shimmers

GDS Shimmers was the first patch programmed in the voice editor when the full system was returned to working order for the first time in many years during major restoration in late 2014. It is one of only three known working examples in the world. As a souvenir of this special event, the sound was captured and faithfully multi-sampled in Kontakt. The GDS was a derivative of the Bell Labs Alles Machine and was the groundbreaking 32 oscillator digital synthesizer to directly form the basis of the DK Synergy.

The library contains over 500 sounds in wave format & 555 patches adapted to the NI Kontakt 4,5,6 sampler. The palette of sounds is very wide – from analog strings, dreamy pads to another world sounds, re-sampled landscapes, moving sounds, wind bell pads & soviet synth sounds. This library is a great add-on for the creation of atmospheres, deepness, intro’s & outro’s in your music. However in the hands of experienced musician it can be an independent source for creation of whole track. Nick Klimenko put all his patience, knowledges & creativity to make you happy during playing with the musical pieces! “Granular Moon” is a work of dedication to explore ever-evolving sounds. One year in the making, it contains a huge number of atmospheres, pads, field recordings and an additional arp section. All atmospheres and pads are assigned to Mod Wheel and become pulsing sounds, fully editable, synced to your BPM, for the most flexible use as underscore textures. The real core of “Granular Moon” is the Multis folder, here you will find the whole potential of these evolving sounds.
