Volt II is the follow up to our last popular Kontakt library Volt I. Volt II is packed with deeply sampled and highly playable sounds including hard hitting and gritty bass sounds, ethereal pads and strings, arpeggios, distorted other-world textures, alien atmospherics and dreamy uplifting chordal synths. Volt II uses our Volt Meter controller which allows for multiple dial manipulations on the interface with just one dial movement. Essentially the Volt Meter is an advanced Macro. Assign your modwheel to the Volt Meter automate the parameters on the fly. Volt II is perfect for all kinds of electronic music from ambient, abstract electronica to Techno and is also great for writing breakdowns for your next electronic masterpiece. Comes with over 130 snapshots preset and we also included a collection of MULTI’s. Audio demos are made with just a few instances of Volt II using simple chords etc – Volt II does the rest with slow evolving textures and gritty bass and distorted arpeggios etc.

However, instead of using synthesizers, this time around only old audio recordings were used. The result is a diverse, unique, sometimes strange, sometimes quirky set of samples that are inspiring and nostalgic. And though there has been no concerted effort to emulate the sound of the following artists, those who’ve been working on audio demos believed the sounds to be influenced by Boards of Canada, Amon Tobin and Olafur Arnalds. However, these artists do not endorse this library. You may hear a different artist when you hear the demos and sounds.

Fission A is a new library for Kontakt 6 and is inspired by works of Hildur Guðnadóttir and specially her soundtrack for the outstanding HBO serie Chernobyl. Ever since watching the first minutes of the Chernobyl serie I was drawn to its sound universe and I started recording and creating magesy sounds for a project inspired by this. Now a few months further this has resulted in the Fission A and B libraries. I created 200 soundsources from recordings of an old cello, a bassoon, some flutes, a few bass guitars, a piano, from my guitars, from field recordings and sounds that I created within various synths. I mangled all the sounds to create a dark atmosphere.
