Adagio Basses is our fourth release in the Adagio Series – featuring both Ensemble (4) and Divisi (2) Basses as well as a Solo Bass. The library contains 6 different types of legato, +25 dynamic bowing types, 15 loures and gorgeous deep-sampled short notes.

Electro Bass is a very simple software synthesizer built upon the Kontakt 4 sampler from NI. It is best described as an innocent flirt with the Electro genre – designed to be an inspiration when working on those big sounding, portamento-ish bass sounds. Is Electro Bass a one-trick pony? You bet! No sweet pads or trance plucks will ever emanate from this instrument. Nothing but the pumping goodness of bass. The structure is simple. There are two oscillator sections, each with three unique waveforms. Each oscillator has its own lowpass/hipass filter, there is one envelope for the volume and one envelope for a master filter.There are two effects: delay and a simple saturation effect to give the sound a rougher edge.

Red Bass a sample library made for N.I. Kontakt. Scarbee Red Bass is built on the samples of J-Slap’n Fingered, but has been reprogrammed to take advantage of our highly advanced scripting technology originally developed for Black Bass. Three pick-up settings: Bridge, Both and Neck have all been recorded in both a fingered and slapped version—without the use of compression, tubes or EQ to ensure maximum flexibility in the sound production. Red Bass was designed to be very easy to play live. Almost all articulations can be triggered without any keyswitches. Eg. legato playing triggers hammer-on and pull-off, legato playing with sustain pedal pressed triggers slides, fast legato playing triggers grace notes.

GAS is a hybrid Kontakt synthesiser fusing together six-string electric guitars and analog modular effects. Every sound in the library has been recorded from real guitars ran through a complex sequence of tape machines, effects and pedals. The results are mesmerizing and unlike any sounds heard before. Different and special, with lofi analog and organic pads, synths and leads which you won’t believe came from an electric guitar. The Kontakt interface has a wealth of controls allowing virtually any aspect of the original sound to be controlled and blended together using the incredible waveform blend system. It also contains a custom 32 step sequencer for powerful pattern creation and an inbuilt pattern browser and save facility.

We sampled a string trio of talented Italian musicians, Barbara (violin), Giada (viola) and Klaus (cello), at the amazing Teatro delle Voci in Treviso. The Viola features up to 3.5 octaves, 3 dynamic layers for sustained articulations, true legato, 4 Round Robins for short articulations like Spiccato, Staccato and Pizzicato. We provide you the ability to create your unique sound by mixing the 3 microphones positions (Close, Mid and Far). The sampling was made with top quality gear: Schoeps and AudioTechnica microphones, Neve and Millennia Media preamps.
