It comes complete with a flexible GUI that lets you dynamically mix and shape layers, add effects and create your own custom arpeggiation and sustaining bell shake rolls. Includes 283 MB and 290 samples. This library requires the full retail version of Kontakt 4.2.4 or later.

    The Bowed Bucket is what happens when you hammer together an big fat instrument out of a 5 gallon plastic bucket, a wooden 4×4 beam, bass turners and cello strings. The bucket was fitted with tuning lugs and then holes were drilled out to allow individual strings to pass through, using the bottom wall as the bridge, so that sound projected outward and down. Then a 4×4 wooden beam was affixed to the bucket and the strings were then stretched up the heavy wooden neck, roughly nailed in place and hand -tuned. Remember that old string and paper cup trick from when you were a kid? Yeah, think bigger.

    Glockowonko – 20 patches coaxing weird and wonderful sounds from a simple glockenspiel, most with tempo synced rhythms. From Dwarf Mine Repairing to a Tibetan Teashop….or something like that…Recorded through valves to one inch tape. The microtape players feature a virtual tape machine running all the time beneath the engine. You have 3 types of control (via the ‘Degrader’) over tape damage – via filter,amplitude or pitch, with a tape speed slider as well, so Boards of Canada style sounds are easily obtainable, or you can set the controls to zero to bypass the effect.

    The PVC Beatbox Ensemble was created by assembling a vocal ensemble and vocalizing through long, elaborately hand-built pvc pipe “trumpets” to create drones, dirges, booms, horn blasts, drum kit-like percussive chuffs, thumps, hisses, pops and steam effects. We gathered our usual ensemble percussion crew together in a large “epic” glass and tile hall with lush natural reverberation, assembling strange maze-like tangles of pipe using a ton of plastic PVC tubing and fittings and then attempting to beatbox through it all. The best word to describe the result would be STEAM DRUMS.

    The Celtic Nylon Harp is a small-sized harp with a height of nearly 39 inch (98 cm) and is usually designed for traditional music. The wooden instrument ranges in three octaves between C2 and C5 and has got 22 strings which are made of nylon and are plucked with the fingers. The harp has a lever close to the top of each string; when it is engaged, it shortens the string so its pitch is raised a semitone (sharped note if the string was a natural). The warm sound of the nylon strings is inspiring and adorable.
