The Roland JUNO60 helped define the sound of the ‘80s and is highly prized for its vintage vibe and unmistakable character. Simply put, it’s the sound you hear in your head when you think of fat, punchy analog synthesizers. With the JUNO60 Software Synthesizer, you get the full authentic experience of this legendary keyboard in a modern software instrument.
200 one shots from various synthesizers (Prophet, CS80, Memorymoog, Jupiter, Juno, ARP2600 etc), pianos, bells, percussive instruments and guitars. Recorded through vintage tape and reverb to give every sound a unique and nostalgic feeling.
This week we welcome back Techno and IDM legend Kirk Degiorgio for a look at the iconic Juno 106! Cherry Audio has recently released their soft synth emulation claiming to be the best so far, so we thought we’d put it to the test and compare it with some of the other VST’s on the market to see how they stack up. We also check out how well our very own ANA 2 measures up to the competition when set up similarly so let battle commence! Do you agree with Kirk’s choice? Check it out and let us know what you think!
