With his bespoke brand of meticulously melodic, bass-heavy electronica, his first EP provided wide acclaim and provided him a platform to a further 2 EPs, before he joined the deadmau5′ famed mau5trap family. Tallon has since released twice on the ‘We Are Friends’ albums (the only artist to both times curate/produce the full-length accompanying mixes) , as well as having 2 EP releases – the latter garnering huge plaudits for his original portrayal of electronica.

Having championed the true nature of trance music from his very first release, the last 24 months have seen Solarstone drive its sound, almost singlehandedly, back up to the top of the genre’s agenda. Through his #PureTrance gospel – modernizing the genre’s heart, whilst maintaining its soul – he captured the mood of the scene with zeitgeist timing.

              Chris catches up with Funtcase, an English dubstep and drum and bass producer and DJ, from Bournemouth. He has just returned from a massive b2b show at EDC Las Vegas with Doctor P and readying new releases for 2016. Funtcase’s first released drum and bass, under the alias DJ Dose in 2007, and in 2009 released his first single under the name FuntCase. In 2010 he was signed to Flux Pavilion and Doctor P’s record label Circus Records, while also releasing music under the alias Haze. He is well known for performing wearing his signature mask. In early 2013 he announced his largest release, the eight-track Don’t Piss Me Off EP.[4] It was also announced that he and Cookie Monsta would present the second Circus Records Showcase album “Circus Two”

                This week, Chris catches up with Russian superstar Producer, Remixer and DJ ‘Arty’ from his studio in LA. We have an in-depth chat on his production process, his favourite studio tools and how he created his famous remix of London Grammar’s ‘Hey Now’ . Arty’s debut was in 2009 when the Enhanced Progressive label released his Vanilla Sky EP. In 2010 he joined Above & Beyond’s label Anjunabeats releasing several huge trance singles and EPs. In 2015 Arty released his debut album “Glorious”, and went on a global tour to support the album. He also has his own channel on twitch.
