ML Artist Pack “Dream Tones” is a collection of perfectly matched guitar tones that pays homage to the amazing guitar tones used by JOHN PETRUCCI throughout his career. Every guitar tone was first recreated on a real tube amplifier. That tone was then dynamically matched on modelers and finally match EQ’d to sound and behave just like the original recordings. The Helix presets come with 8 snapshots that include Petrucci-esque effects including compressor, wah, phaser, drive, chorus, flanger, two types of delays and reverbs. HX Stomp presets are limited to a rhythm, lead and clean sound.

212 DV77 Cab Pack is based on a custom 2×12 cabinet loaded with Eminence DV-77 speakers. The tone is simply massive and balanced with great character that rides the line between something new and something familiar. The low end is BIG and kicks like a 4×12, but with the focus of a 2×12. The midrange is forward and balanced. And the top end has great pick attack and note clarity without the presence peak we hear in many modern speakers. Although the DV-77 is mainly thought of as a drop-tuned metal speaker, it also plays surprisingly well with British mid-gain tones and is at home with a humbucker loaded 7-string as well as a single coil 6-string. This pack features 129 Single Mic captures along with 16 multi-mic Mixes for a total of 145 IRs.

Bring life to lifeless simulations. Add some oomph to your amp sim hardware. Or, crank your tube amp to 10 at any volume. The collection contains: IRs and mixIR³ IR modules. IRs are packaged as WAV audio files in a variety of sample rates. They can be loaded into most any convolution software or hardware. MixIR³ IR modules are for use with Redwirez mixIR³ only. Each module contains all IRs for a single cabinet in one file. Loading up an IR module in the mixIR³ brings up a point-and-click visual interface for selecting mics and mic position. Modules also provide controls for tweaking the cabinet’s impedance curve and bass response.
