The CIN-A is an acoustic piano, in case it’s two, but made into one. The power and exactness from a large German Grand Piano, blended with the warmth and intimacy of an upright piano. The samples have been processed using some cool vintage outboard and even resampled using a ¼ inch analog tape machine. To add extra warmth and glue everything together. The result: A instrument that sounds like no other piano you’ve heard, that delivers a sound that we hope will inspire you as soon as you get it under your fingertips. Not much to tell, really. Load it, play it, and hopefully you will find it as fun to play, as it was to produce.

We returned to the same hall as Midnight Grand and Glacier Keys, and captured the same glorious Steinway D Concert Grand – this time in its pure form (without the felt, cotton or extended techniques of our previous pianos) but still retaining Fracture Sounds’ sonic signature and ease-of-use, and with even more detail and nuance than our previous pianos. We record a stunning 9′ grand piano at the MGM Scoring Stage at Sony Pictures Studios in Los Angeles. Our goal was to record a detailed piano library at the same scoring stage as our flagship CineSymphony libraries for seamless integration and to provide four distinct characters of the piano through a variety of microphone and mixing techniques.
