The Audio Damage 914 Fixed Filter Bank is a faithful recreation of the Moog Modular Synthesizer’s 914 module, and a major upgrade to our original 907A plugin. This plugin creates unique filter textures by passing the signal through twelve band-pass filters, as well as a low-pass and high-pass filter.
Filter Research 3’s standard Combinators are a stunning selection that run the sonic gamut from MIDI-triggered delays, psychotic beat repeaters, guitar amp multi-FX, tuned resonators, as well as subtle production-ready EQ and Saturation patches. But the centerpiece of this aural experience is once again the Epic Combinators. These six patches by Jeremy Janzen are truly Reason sound design at its finest. Each Epic Combinator is outfitted with up to 24 macro rotaries in order to give the best possible control experience, while maintaining an elegant simplicity that anyone can take advantage of. If that still sounds intimidating, over sixty minutes of video documentation is included describing how to get the most out of all six patches.
Crush Filter is a plugin featuring a combination of LowPass/HighPass filter and BitCrusher. It’s useful to create gritty distortion effects and give motion in combination with the envelope follower. The assignable knobs allow real-time control of all parameters for production fine tuning and live performance.
Filter Research is a new patchset now available for Reason 4 which does just that. Filter Research takes the modular format of the Reason Combinator, and harnesses it to create new, and truly unique effects devices.
There are many filter plugins on the market today but the Filter Bank Pro is different! It contains two modules allowing endless sound sculpting. The first module seen on the left of the plugin is the heart of the Filter Bank Pro and contains five individual filters. Each of these filters features a Gain control for cutting or boosting, a frequency control for selecting which frequency to filter (1-12,000hZ!), and finally a Q control which narrows or widens the frequency bands being filtered. Over on the right of the plugin you have the more traditional filter module containing five filter types including Low Pass, High Pass, Band Pass, Notch, and Peaking. There are also large and inviting Cutoff and Resonance controls (with sync capable LFO) and the awesome Analogue! knob which adds warmth. The Filter bank Pro also has Input and Output level controls which come in very handy when creating some extreme filtered sounds.
What is the Cat Growl Filter? The Cat Growl Filter is a multi-purpose FX Rack/Filter for Max for Live. It contains a series of FX modules that have been carefully programmed to provide a more aggressive filter sweep enhancing the ‘growl’ of the filter sweep. What Makes The Cat Growl Filter Unique? The Cat Growl Filter’s uniqueness comes from it’s custom, 2 channel filter, that enables the user to create special effects not heard in other filters. This is achieved by giving the user control over left and right channel and filter type. The Cat Growl Filter comes with 8 interchangeable filter types per channel. So you could use a resonant filter on the left channel, and on the right channel have a bandstop filter. These filters can either move in sync or independently from each other.
