The Nyabinghi influence is pervasive throughout the DJ and Sound System culture. The Nyabinghi spiritual essence can be felt through their drumming style that is primarily centered around 3 main drums: the Baandu or Bass drum, the Funde, a middle pitched drum, and the Kete also known as the ‘Repeater’, the smallest and highest pitched drum.
