    Join mastering wiz Larry Holcombe for a detailed look at Brainworx’s updated version of their flagship mastering chain plug-in, bx_masterdesk PRO, which puts everything you need in one place. You’ll learn how to use each component of the plugin (compressor, de-esser, filter, EQ, limiter, etc.) to quickly shape your mix into a final, mastered track that’s ready to compete with the big dogs. These bx_masterdesk PRO videos are designed for new users. Before moving on to specific sections, Larry first gives you a brief tour of the interface to help you understand its organization. Then it’s on to the compressor section, where Larry will demonstrate how to use the Glue compressor and Clipper to manage the dynamic range, along with the TMT feature. Next, you’ll explore the De-Esser and Resonant Filters, where you’ll learn how to tame harsh resonances, sibilance, and other problematic issues that often plague mixes.
