These kits were all made by importing my own custom sounds into the vintage Electribe ESX-1 groovebox/sampler, programming the grooves there, and then recording everything back out into Ableton individually – for even further creative processing. For those not familiar with this sweet piece of retro hardware, it has tubes inside of it for an extra warm, analog style sound. I recently upgraded the tubes inside of my ESX-1 from the stock, factory tubes – to some newer, much more high quality sounding tubes to maximize the sonic impact of these kits!

Get the sound of Dub Techno, which was mainly shaped in Berlin’s Panoramabar, Ostgut and Tresor. Thanks to Hardwax Records this style has got a solid place in Techno history with artists like Mautizio, Basic Channel, Mono Junk, Vainqueuer, Deepchord, Porter Ricks, Shed, Rhythm & Sound just to name a few. This fine collection of loops and oneshots is full of analog warmth with digital precision including heavily processed synth loops, vocal loops and beats as well as super useful top loops. The oneshot samples can also be imported in hardware sampler like Akai MPC, Toraiz SP-16 or Elektron.
