Rich with bottom-end thump, raw crackle and helpings of fuzz on top, this plucky drum sample palette has the razor-sharp edge to cut through your mix and the restraint to gel seamlessly with the other instruments in your session. From propulsive kicks, spiky snares and scattering hi hats, through to caustic claps, subtle shakers, frazzled rims, deep toms and beyond, this percussion library carefully blends the aggressive, attention-grabbing character of haywire electronics with the smooth, satisfyingly resonant sound of analog drums. Dynamic drum sample libraries. Sphere Studios is one of London’s finest with a long-standing reputation amongst industry professionals.The session was engineered by studio owner Francesco Cameli who has worked with an extensive client list that includes the likes of Queen, Phil Collins, West Life, Gary Moore, Bullet For My Valentine, New Model Army and TesseracT. Martin Oldham (clients including Maroon 5, Keane, Elton John, Killing Joke and Razorlight) was also on hand as drum tech for the session. Together they ensured that the drums were set up to be enriched by the outstanding acoustics of Sphere’s live room. This combination of precision and expertise added enlivening levels of depth and detail to the samples in a strive to create a clear and unique overall sound.

This is a drum library consisting of unique one-shots, each of which has been carefully crafted, tested for sounding in the mix and is ready for use. The high quality won’t leave you indifferent! Each one-shot from the collection sounds just like the ones in the tracks of top producers! Analogous drum machines, synthesizers, drum sets and percussion instruments were used for the creation of the library. Mono-microphones and stereo-pairs, which were used for recording some elements in stereo, add a sense of space and depth to the sound.
