    The first one of this series is Mastering Templates for Steinberg Cubase! 16 Mastering templates for 4 genres, EDM, Trap, Deep House and Drum & Bass, 16 separate projects with mastering plugins of Waves (4 templates with Waves plugins only), iZotope Ozone 5 (4 templates with Ozone 5 plugins only), Cubase 5 (4 templates with Cubase 5 plugins only) and Cubase 7.5 (4 templates with Cubase 7.5 plugins only). 16 mastering template projects in total! Each Template contains a Cubase file containing an example demo song routed through a dedicated Channel Strip containing all the necessary EQ, Compression and FX settings that can be used on your own productions as a final Master Tool. The final polish and mastering of your tracks is a very important stage to get that perfect finished Sound and each genre has its own technical requirements, and examples of these settings are included in the templates.

    Abstractions, a brand new royalty free collection of evolving atmospheric stems which can be used to create deep emotive soundscapes for productions ranging from; Ambient, Chill, Drum & Bass, Trance, Filmscore and Electronica.  Layering Samples and Field Recordings Abstractions features sounds taken from a wide sonic spectrum, including scenes from the lively city of Brighton, UK, from beach-front café’s to street performances, bird-songs and recordings taken while cycling through the town centre, alongside unconventional recordings of live instruments, including; scraping coins over a bass guitar, playing a medieval psaltery with a head of a hammer, a wooden xylophone played by candles. These recordings were all then twisted, stretched remixed and blended together, alongside synth tones to create truly unique textural audio.

    Welcome to the Synth Explorer series of royalty free loops and one shot samples that pay tribute to the legendry synthesisers and drum machines that have inspired generations of electronic music producers from the early electronic revolution right up to the current day. This time out we visit Yamaha and delve inside the FM beast that is the DX7. The Yamaha DX7 is an FM (Frequency Modulation) digital synth and was manufactured from 1983 to 1989. The DX became the first commercially successful Digital synth and featured in hundreds of productions from Electro Pop, Jazz, Rock and early 90s House music it in fact seemed to be everywhere.. It is most famous for its Electric Piano, Bells, Plucked and Percussive Sounds, but the complex way the sounds are shaped with multiple Sine Waves modulating each other using 32 different algorithms meant that the sound design possibilities were huge and with some patience and effort very complex sounds from horns to strings, atmospheres and crazy metallic sound effects were possible.
