WAVEFRONT is a collection of just over 4.5 gigabytes of waveforms created by Engineer, Sound Designer, and Producer Marc Van Bork in the Reason ReFill format. Everything from multi-sampled analog and digital style waveforms, pads, choirs, strings, textures, ambience, and field recordings to electronic drums, metallic impacts, and mangled sounds have been carefully captured at high resolution (24/96) for processing and down-sampled to 16 bit – 44.1khz to provide a very clean and flexible database of raw material.

It is best described as an innocent flirt with the Electro genre – designed to be an inspiration when working on those big sounding, portamento-ish bass sounds. Is Electro Bass a one-trick pony? You bet! No sweet pads or trance plucks will ever emanate from this instrument. Nothing but the pumping goodness of bass. The structure is simple. There are two oscillator sections, each with three unique waveforms. Each oscillator has its own lowpass/hipass filter, there is one envelope for the volume and one envelope for a master filter.There are two effects: delay and a simple saturation effect to give the sound a rougher edge.
