Analog Boom Bap drum kit is indeed a labor of love. What began as a my own stash for my own production eventually bloomed into this ill kit that would eventually become available on the market. The kit is the first product from the bboytech off shoot brand BEATPPL. My first official foray into sound design in the market place, Analog Boom Bap is a unique kit of analog blended drums with vinyl boom bap. Some samples contained are layers of both analog drum sounds and acoustic / vinyl drums. All of the samples have gone through some variation of processing that includes sampling into the classic MPC 60 II and dropped to reel to reel tape for an added punch and warmth. It’s the perfect blend of analog and classic boom bap.
