AQ560 10-Band Graphic Equalizer. The AQ560 based on Classic American EQ from the late ’60s, the 10-Band graphic equalizer features precision filtering and high headroom, ideal for signal enhancement. The curve shaping potential is unmatched, while unique Proportional Q design intuitively widens the filter bandwidth at lower boost/cut levels and narrows it at higher settings. The AQ560 is handy when you need to make EQ adjustments on larger parts of the spectrum instead of a restricted area. Boosting or cutting several bands at once will radically alter the sound of a track, be it a thin, weak snare that needs low end or a dull vocal that needs to be opened up. The AQ560 extends the features of the original hardware and joins the flexibility of the digital world to the character of the analog processing. AQ550b 4-Band Equalizer. Based on Classic American EQ from the late ’60s, the AQ550b is a continuation of the EQ that played a major role in the history of music recording, but with an additional filter band and several new frequencies. With a surprisingly wide range of tonal variations, the AQ550b is an invaluable and professional audio tool with great flexibility and excellent sonic ability. Rather than offer a huge assortment of complex features, the AQ550b provides exactly the right number of controls. Its four EQ bands are overlapped significantly to aid in dual roles as problem solver and sweetening device with each band offering seven switchable filter frequencies that span four-to-five octaves. These frequencies, purposely selected to be musical rather than numeric.

EQ550 is modeled after a renowned American EQ created with custom op-amps. It has a Proportional-Q design, meaning that the bandwidth of the filters becomes narrow when the gain of the filter increases. For low gain settings the EQ delivers a smoother tone: its character becomes more and more aggressive when the bands gain band is raised. This design makes the EQ550 unique.
