Serenity 2 is a sample-based virtual instrument available for Windows and Mac 64-bit systems. It offers a diverse and captivating collection of beautiful and relaxing pad sounds, featuring three layers each and enriched with six field recordings to create incredible musical passages. The pads in Serenity 2 have been meticulously crafted using renowned synthesizers like Hydrasynth and Lyra 8, alongside a redesign of the original Serenity material SE. These sounds are further enhanced through the processing of effect pedals such as Empress Zoia, along with high-quality virtual effects. With 67 presets specifically tailored for various genres including Ambient, Chillout, Downtempo, Relaxing and/or Meditation Music, Lo-Fi, as well as Hip Hop, Trap, and other EDM styles, Serenity 2 offers versatility to suit different musical preferences. Ambient Guitars Vol 1 contains 300MB of ambient guitar samples ideal for use in soundtrack and downtempo compositions. The samples were created using acoustic and electric guitars tuned to DADGAD and open G tuning, a Music Man amp and massive delays, reverbs and distortions. Pedals used included various Electro Harmonix pedals and some stereo microphone techniques on the amp. Further processing was also used in software with Audio Damage plug-ins, PSP Audioware plug-ins and various cut up editing techniques. All of the sounds were heavily influenced by Boards of Canada, My Bloody Valentine, Broadcast, Eno and weird psych folk records.

In addition of hardware effects, ebows, many amps to create a layered and rich sound. Deep and colourful sustained sounds qualities, through different and unusual treatments. Drawing inspirations from bowed guitars sounds and tricks. Humbucker pickups on long strings produce a rich sound that is perfect for making rich soundscapes. Kinda like an “ambient guitar” but with a darker timbre.
