    Analogue Sequences Ableton Live 9.7

    FANTASTiC | Feb 12 2018 | 44 MB

‘Analogue Sequences: Ableton Live’ is a collection of loops and instruments for Ableton Live designed and created by the experienced, award-winning sound designers and production tutors at School of Synthesis. This Live pack utilises sequences created from some of School of Synthesis’ vast collection of classic vintage and modern analogue synthesisers. This collection includes sequences expertly programmed for the Korg MS20, ARP 2600, Roland Jupiter 6, DSI/Sequential Prophet 6, Roland SH2, Moog Sub37 and Sid Station. All synths have been processed through Bettermaker EQ and Manley NuMu and recorded through Burl Mothership. However, the original sound sources are only the foundation of what this Live pack is about. The sequences have been expertly re-imagined as performable Ableton Live instrument racks through cleverly utilising the new Simpler Instrument’s modes recently introduced. All instrument racks are compatible with Live 9.7 (and above) Standard and Suite editions, and have been optimised for use with Ableton’s Push controller.

The tubular bells sampled in this collection are from an 18 note vintage Leedy & Ludwig instrument (C4-F5) from the beginning of the 20th century, remarkable for the purity and clarity of its sounds and for the exceptional duration of its sustained notes. Tubular bells were originally created with the aim of reproducing a church bell sound within the traditional orchestra. From the middle of the 19th century, the instrument evolved into a set of chromatically tuned tubes made of brass. Since the resonance of a tube is one octave below the fundamental (the struck note), these tubular bells were mapped from C3 to F4 with lowest and highest notes extended in their respective range.

Arsenal brings you the surprisingly rich and musical sounds of an array of metal objects. Chosen for their unique sonic qualities, a selection of pipes, tubes and blades have been played with bows, sticks, hands and mouth, to capture and extract their inherent musical essence. Arsenal’s instruments were created with ostensibly non-musical, ordinary objects: sink drains, shower metal tubes, saw blades, post holders, pipe elbows, glass shades, and much more. But in fact, all these objects are inherently musical, and approached in the right way, reveal a unique treasury of unexpected sounds. All this makes Arsenal an inspiring musical toolbox for exploring new colors, new rhythms and new textures. The palette of out of the ordinary sounds includes space guitars, funky drums and percussion, unorthodox basses, dark, haunting sound effects, crystalline bells, strange metallic sounds, ethereal pads, keys and more.
