The Accordion is an unusual accordion library for Kontakt 5.1, sampled from a 1960’s Vardes accordion. The instrument is very noisy, with all sorts of buzzing, clicking, and creaking. Many of the keys make loud clicking noises when pressed. I tried to capture these imperfections in the recording. It is by no means a definitive accordion library, but is great for adding a unique sound to your music. The library features chord drones, staccatos, longs, scraping effects, percussion, and 12 custom designed ambiences created from the source samples. Over 500 samples totalling 180MB, in 20 Kontakt (5.1+) patches. NOTE: Tattered Sounds Accordion require the full version of Kontakt 5.1 (or higher) to run. It will not work in the free Kontakt Player. All sounds in the demo below are unaltered accordion patches. The only processing done is reverb and compression on the master output signal.
“Tango Accordion”, a lovely collection of Tango inspired Accordion loops. “Tango Accordion” features over 260 accordion loops played in different Tango styles. Loops were performed in different keys and tempos to bring you various possibilities of mixing and adaptation and are divided into Melody ( ready to use Accordion melodic progressions ) and Rhythm ( chord progressions ).
