How To Make… Minimal Tech House is eight-part video tutorial on fashioning tunes with the Minimal Tech House sound (think DUBFIRE and FORMAT:B).
72 Ableton Drift presets to take your techno production to the next level. You can find inside presets for Bass, Synth, Stab,, Keys, Pad & Texture. This preset pack is oriented Raw / Deep Hypnotic Techno. We’ve been inspired by label such as Polegroup, Mord, Token, Planet Rhythm, Hayes, SK Eleven, Soma Records, Klockworks, Dystopian, Ostgut Ton etc… Each sound present in the demo is included as a preset (except for the drums that are available as samples). You can find inside as well all the dedicated Midi files and Audio loops (made from the midi file + preset) for each preset. We also included an ALC (Ableton Live Clip) file for each preset, which allow you to quickly preview all the preset and easily drag and drop it into your sessions. Drag and drop the ALC files in Ableton and it will create a new midi track, with the original midi, automations, and the Instrument rack preset loaded into that midi track.
I know its been a while but I needed to make sure these racks work as intended. If you’re a supporter, you can download from this post (or for free from the shop) a set of 8 project files and 8 MIDI-Effect racks! A You-Tube video with some guidance on how to use these will follow in the next hour :) Enjoy and let me know if you run into any issues!
Starting from never opening Ableton before, all the way through to a full gig ready backing track rig. I’ve been running backing tracks on live gigs for years in pretty much all the different ways you can think to do so. From phones, iPads, QLab, MainStage, all the way through to full Ableton rigs. With all of that information, I’ve compiled it into this Ableton backing track course, taking you through which version to buy, how to import audio, all the way through to MIDI control, sample automation and the hardware needed to run all the tracks live. You can combine this with my other course on MainStage backing track rigs to start to have a huge vocabulary of backing tracks, too! Any occasion, and you’ll be able to sort the backing tracks. This is an incredibly dense subject and by no means is this everything (which is SO exciting!). Ableton projects are individual to you and how you use them, so please take all of this information and apply it to your own projects. When I first started with Ableton, it was terrifying and daunting. But, once you make that first step and see things work, it’s really addictive! Make sure to search further and improve your Ableton rigs as much as possible with experimentation and if I can help, please send me a message!I look forwards to building an Ableton backing track rig with you!
