Drumformer is a multi-band drum and master track dynamics processing plug-in for professional music and audio production applications. Drumformer was designed to be a comprehensive solution for the broadest range of sound processing tasks. Drumformer can operate in broadband, 2-band and 3-band modes, with each band having compressor-expander and saturation modules. The sound of the compressor can be defined as “gluey with a ping”, because it instantly creates a “tight and glued together” sound while emphasizing the transients. The saturation module offers a choice between six saturation modes, each having a smooth sound and differing harmonic content. Drumformer features a precise gate module with a round sound and multifaceted controls that is useful when you are processing a multi-tracked drum kit. The built-in parametric equalizer with its spectrum analyzer will also come in handy. The “Clipper” module which is a part of the plug-in allows the user to get artistic master output clipping effects.

Shumovick AU, AAX, and VST plugin for professional music production applications produces a creative dynamic noise-padding effect. This effect is most effective on beats and synth sounds used in electronic music production: EDM, hip-hop, and many others. The noise-padding effect created by this plugin is correlated to the spectral content of the sound being processed. As a result, on beats, this creates mellow noise bursts that make bassdrum sounds a lot softer, with a bit of stereo-field enhancement effect. On synths, on the other hand, such noise-padding effect may boost the power and density of the sound. Shumovick can be also effective when used on sterile-sounding basslines where it can add a bit of “pillowy” noise background. In practice, Shumovick can be also used on acoustic drum buses adding “vintage” feel and aggression to them. When used on a full mix lightly, Shumovick can add a slight “vintage” feel to the sound, make it slightly rougher, and add a stereo-widening effect: this is reminiscent of what a reel-to-reel tape and vinyl recording media does to the sound, naturally.

Preparation is a physical modelling instrument based on nonlinear models of strings and collisions. Each voice has a pair of strings connected by a rattle that reacts to the vibrations at each end. This uses the latest research in collision modelling to calculate the acoustic system in real-time. The strings have parameters for nonlinearity, inharmonicity, sustain and tone. The rattle has controls for the mass at each end, the gap from the strings, the stiffness, edginess, strength and its position.
