Vintage Sound Effects Library is a 12 CD real cross section of royalty free sound effects from the 1950s to the 1980s. Available as a complete CD set, a complete library download, or as individual CDs, the library contains almost 1,700 professionally recorded sound clips, originally recorded on analogue tape recorders (mostly Nagras). These sounds have been carefully selected to find items or places that would be difficult to record now. For example, it’s not easy to record a horse and cart rolling through an old town – and there is nothing like the original old cars, trains and machines recorded in their actual environments. As a consequence, many of these effects are really unique: the warfare sounds or the airplanes in this sound effects collection for instance. All the sounds have been edited on today’s state-of-the-art equipment for use in the modern day studio – Vintage Sound Effects Library.
