    Peace Love Productions presents Acid Synths X0X. This collection features an arsenal of vintage loops created using authentic vintage synthesizers. Everything you’ll need to re-create the classic Acid Techno sound and beyond is here! PLP was able to get their hands on a selection of the best Analogue X0X boxes. This means TB-303 bass and synth lines, Firstman SQ-01 leads and TR-606, -707, -727 and -909 drums are plentiful here. All loops were performed and produced by Poor Boy Rich (aka Richard Jantz). Jantz is a veteran of acid techno production. All loops are 123-124 BPM in tempo, and there are 388 loops overall, recorded in 24-bit / 44.1 kHz stereo. Three available file types (.wav, .aif and .rx2) are present as usual.

    There have been very few synthesizers that can claim the singularity and legendary status of the TB-303. Responsible for, Acid House, one of the most significant dance genres of the 20th century the TB-303 has had a huge influence on countless other musical movements. This unassuming machine has been at the cutting edge of dance music culture for the last 30 years. When we considered designing a sample pack based around the TB- 303, it was imperative to us that we offered as much of the machine’s defining character as possible. The secret of the 303’s unique sound is largely due to it’s in-built sequencer, which offers the user a selection of attributes with which to perform sequences unlike any other synthesizer… but the charm and appeal of the hardware is much more than that…the machine has an incredible variety of sounds and a breadth of styles from mellow and chilled to screaming acid peak time then back down to a funky groove, all this is pulled off with the distinctive TB-303 class.

    The Roland TB-303 Bassline is a classic synth, much revered and highly desirable. This ReFill contains samples from a real TB303 as well as samples from some of the best emulations available. There are 922 single note WAV files, which have been turned into 25 Combinator Instrument Patches and 23 NN-XT Patches. There are also 25 Combinator REX Patches. These patches contain a DR REX device which is loaded with one of the included 25 REX2 Loops* and a Matrix device for pattern playback. These patches have the original BPM included in their name, but will sync to your current project tempo (the BPM is included just for reference). You can tweak these patches in real-time, and, in some cases, change the Matrix pattern to hear variations of the original loop.
